Welcome to The Last Resort

In my day, I've seen many videos, books, and comics.  I've also seen many shows that review such material.  At long last I've decided to throw my hat into the mix with 'The Last Resort'.  I don't know what I'll do from here, I have half a mind to make videos on YouTube or Blip and post them here as others have done.  But for now, I think I'll start with text reviews.

The types of things I'll be reviewing here are primarily film adaptations.  The source material can be pretty much anything: comics, real events, and even novels or anime.  I don't plan to judge these works as adaptations however.  I want to give these films a fighting chance to prove that they are well made films.  To that my planned reviews are going to involve some of these silver screen gems.

• The Last Airbender
• Dragonball: Evolution
• Harry Potter (all of the films eventually)
• X-men (all of the films)
• Batman (all of the older films)
• Superman (all of the older films)
• Ocean's Eleven
• Resident Evil

And those are the main ones off the top of my head.  As stated above I'll be reviewing each film as if I were unfamiliar with the source material, and for some of them this will be 100% true.  This should give some films (like Last Airbender and Dragonball: Evolution) a chance of standing tall for once, though my hopes are dwindling.

I may also review movie adaptations of games as well, but that depends on how easily I can acquire them.

The first review will be posted within the next few days I should hope.
